Earlier this week, Instagram released an update that now has everyone in a collective panic. There is a tall tale currently circulating the Internet that says that if you screenshot someone's 'gram, they'll get a notification (like on Snapchat). Here's the thing though – that's totally not happening.
Here's the truth. Instagram did release a new feature that will alert you if someone screenshots your Snapchat-esque DMs – you know, those new ones that disappear after a while. But, there's currently no feature in place that will alert your crush when you screenshot their latest 'gram to send to your besties in that group text.

Lenovo-owned Motorola launched its Moto E (2nd Gen) successor dubbed the Moto E3 Power in India today at Rs. 7999, exclusively on Flipkart. As the name suggests, the company is touting it to be long lasting battery device, which can also quick charge for 5 hours of power in just 15 minutes. We went hands on with the device and here are our first impressions.
Upfront, the Moto E3 Power packs a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display which is slightly glossy, so attracts fingerprints easily, but having said that the viewing angles and brightness levels are great for any condition indoor or outdoor.
One of the USP of Moto E3 Power is its advanced nano-coating technology. It can handle accidental spills, splashes or light rain. But Motorola still doesn’t advise you to put it in deep water, or expose it to pressurized water, or any other liquids. The company says it is a water-resistant device and not a waterproof device.
MOTO E3 Power *Unboxing* and ReviewThe back of Moto E3 sports similar design as the Moto G4 series of devices. It also features similar matte finished textured back and Motorola’s signature ‘M’ logo dimple below the camera. The back panel is removable and underneath there are two Micro-SIM card slots and a dedicated microSD card slot.
Above the display sits the 5-megapixel front facing camera and earpiece grill along with two sensors – proximity and ambient light sensor. The three touch buttons – Back, Home and Recents – sit within the display.
The 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top edge. The Micro-USB charging / data syncing port is at the bottom. The power and volume keys are on the right side and offer good tactile feedback. The left side has nothing.
The Moto E3 is powered by a 64-bit 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735p processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Motorola has a history of seeding updates quicker than everyone, so the 7.0 Nougat should also be made available soon.
On camera front, the Moto E3 packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera. We cannot comment on the quality of these two as yet, but from the brief amount of time spent with the device, we feel that the two cameras can do good job in daylight at least. Motorola this time around have added quite a few new features like the beauty, panorama, live filters etc. to the stock app, so that’s a nice addition have.
The Moto E3 Power is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) device and supports 4G VoLTE. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot, so you have the option of putting in two Micro-SIM cards along with a microSD card for expandability up to additional 32GB.
The handset is backed by a 3500mAh removable battery with 10w rapid charger, which company claims can get you 5 hours of power in just 15 minutes. We did try the charging and it seemed quick.
The Moto E3 power is a slightly bulky device with 9.55mm thickness and weighs 153.5gms. The handset measures 143.8 X 71.6 X 9.55mm.
Overall, the Moto E3 Power appears an impressive all-rounder handset that will further take forward the popularity of Moto E 1st and 2nd Gen devices. It feels like a solid compact device with elegant looks, but here is fierce competition in this price segment and it will be really difficult for Motorola to handle competition, especially when it is an online-only device. But jumping to a conclusion would not be ideal as of now, so wait until our full review of the Moto E3 Power is out. Do stay tuned and keep reading.

People are writing ‘Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai’ on Indian currency because that’s how we Indians deal with heartbreak. Whoever started this chain deserves a goddamn award because this is my current favourite thing on the internet.
It all started a few months ago, with this picture of a dirty, old ten rupee note that probably belonged to a jilted lover.
It was way more interesting than ordinary life, so people kinda played along.

Delhi Earthquake: Despite being early in the morning a lot of people tweeted about the earthquake shaking buildings in the region.As per USGS, the earthquake of magnitude 4.2 magnitude was felt 13 kilometers southeast of Bawal in Haryana.
New Delhi and parts of north India were shaken by an earthquake at around 4.30 am on Thursday. According to initial reports the earthquake had its epicentre in Haryana with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter Scale. The earthquake was at a depth of 10KM.
Despite being early in the morning a lot of people tweeted about the earthquake shaking buildings in the region. The tremors were felt across Delhi, NCR and neighbouring areas too. Many said the quake was strong enough to wake them up.
As per USGS, the earthquake of magnitude 4.2 magnitude was felt 13 kilometers southeast of Bawal in Haryana.The earthquake, a shallow one, struck at a depth of 10 kilometers, the US Geological Survey said.
There was no immediate loss of life and property reported.

Samsung just registered a new patent, which shows that the company is making a new foldable phone that is something you haven’t quite seen before.
A special hinge will keep the phone upright, where it will appear like any other simple smartphone. But it also will be foldable, which will help in occupying a seemingly large screened phone comfortably in the pocket.
This design is quite similar to the concept on which the Surface Book was based on. The idea isn’t exactly surprising. Samsung previously announced that they would launch a foldable phone in March 2015.

In response to global prices and currency fluctuations, the three state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) have decided to lower the prices of petrol and diesel from midnight Tuesday.
According to the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), retail petrol price will be decreased by Rs 1.46 per litre and diesel would become cheaper by Rs 1.53 per litre, excluding state levies.
"The current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant decrease in selling price of petrol and diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision," IOC said in a statement.
"The movement of prices in the international oil market and INR-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes."
The new prices of non-branded petrol in metros like New Delhi would come to Rs 65.93 per litre, Kolkata Rs 68.67, Mumbai Rs 72.29 and Chennai Rs 65.41.
The revised prices of non-branded diesel in New Delhi would come to Rs 54.71 per litre, Kolkata Rs 56.95, Mumbai Rs 60.32 and Chennai Rs 56.24.
On November 5, 2016, the three OMCs decided to raise the price of petrol and diesel by Re 0.89 per litre and Re 0.86 per litre (excluding state levies).
